I’m partial to a bit of DIY – whether I create the pieces myself or come up with ideas for my crafty clients to execute there’s a whole lot of fun to be had creating unique items to style a room with. Inspiration can come from anywhere and sometimes the simplest of ideas are the best! Artwork is a great place to start and I thought this gold polka dot idea was to good not to share.
The best bit is if gold isn’t your flavour you can use any colour you like. All you need is:
Cut out your first circle and then use it as a template. The number of circles you need will depend on the size of your frame, but for an 8 x 10 frame I would suggest about 14 circles cut from each piece of paper. Glue the circles onto the cardboard in a random pattern and overlapping some of the circles and viola – your new artwork is ready!
