If you have visited my blog before, or if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you may have noticed a few changes to my website and you might be wondering the reason behind the change! Well I have been fortunate enough to work with many families helping them to create special rooms for their kids and a couple of months ago I started to think about why these families had trusted me in particular to design a space just for them…
Hiring a designer is a very personal choice and a lot of trust is involved – you are spending your hard earned cash on a unique room for your precious little one and if you decide to hire someone to help you to do that then you might like to get to know that person a little more!
As an Interior Designer my website is a huge reflection of who I am, how I design and what I can do for my clients. So I decided to make a few tweaks to show a little MORE of myself and my personality to help you all get to know me a little better. One thing that I am known for is my love for COLOUR! Colour in the home is what puts a smile on my face in the design world – I love everything from subtle pops of colour in an otherwise neutral room to raging, amplified colour on walls and accessories. If you follow me on Pinterest you might have noticed this already. So that’s what I have done – amplified my website to show you that side of me!
I also love to share my knowledge so I created a FREE EBook called…. wait for it….. “Crazy for Colour” which you can download by entering your email address into the sign up box in the sidebar!
I also took time out to think about the services I offer. My Angel Service is perfect for local clients (South East Queensland, Australia) or people willing to have me travel further afield, and the Fairy Godmother service is where you work with me to create everything you need to design your one-of-a-kind room and allowing you to put the room together yourself.
I also get a lot of enquiries from parents (and parents-to-be) who are a little ‘stuck’ on an aspect of their room design. Maybe they have a lot of ideas, images saved on Pinterest and no clue on how to get started or perhaps they have bought bedding, prints, accessories and are looking for the missing links to pull the look together. That’s why I created my BRAND NEW SERVICE “Get Unstuck”!

This service is only $AUS80 and if you like working with me so much and you later decide to book me to design this room, the ‘Get Unstuck’ fee will be taken off the price of the service!
I’ve also committed to myself (and to you!) that I will now be blogging once a week – one of the things I love about the blogs I read is that they post regularly and of course you deserve that too!
